Darryn and Silje (Celia) own Rivendell Winery Estate together with Danny and Corinne – Darryn’s parents. Relocating to Rivendell from Perth, Darryn and Celia re-opened the Rivendell Cellar Door in December 2017 after a short closure for refurbishment. Darryn and Celia relocated from Perth to live on site with their two young children.

The property is situated on the corner of Commonage and Wildwood Road in the rolling hills of Yallingup. The winery is set on a hill with stunning views from the deck overlooking the renowned gardens and hills beyond. Rivendell is one of Margaret Rivers’ oldest and most beautiful and enchanting Winery Estates and is home to a large number of the great, big cockatoos as well as a raft of other wildlife.

The gardens and general estate look more amazing than ever thanks to a lot of hard, dedicated work over the past couple of years. Corinne, Celia and the kids often help with the weeding, Darryn is in charge of the lawns and Danny is a whizz on the Ferris to maintain the massive fields at the entrance and opposite the winery and gardens.

Darryn and Celia own and operate the cellar door that is open Thursday to Sunday. In addition to their premium wines you can enjoy a bite to eat for lunch, book in for an amazing high tea - or pop by for a coffee and scones! The food and drinks can be enjoyed inside if it's cold or out on the deck overlooking the gardens. Dogs are welcome on a lead in the outdoor areas and a playground as well as expansive lawns cater for kids to get their 'beans' out of their system.  Check out the latest menu by clicking here.

The Rivendell Winery Estate range of wines is growing and truly reflects Darryn and Celia's passion for good, local wines. While the estate grows mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, fruit is also sourced from nearby, local producers to create a range of quality wines. Bring your family and friends to Rivendell, relax and have fun. The estate provides you an opportunity to create a true get-away feeling together with your family and friends. Rivendell Winery is the perfect country  escape to enjoy all that the South West has to offer in Australia.

Within the estate a number of holiday villas are available for rent to enjoy an extended stay. A modern tennis court is available for use while staying at the villas. 

There is room to sleep up to 72 adults on site right now and in the coming couple of years (building takes time!) this will grow to 80. Villa 10 is about to start construction and will feature a luxerious 3 bedroom holiday home with fantastic valley and dam views. Each of the villa’s on site are fully self contained and feature at a minimum of two bathrooms and vary from 3 to 5 bedrooms.
