Take a break and enjoy the serene beauty of Rivendell gardens from our deck while sipping on some of our finest wines. If you're feeling peckish, our gourmet share boards are a perfect choice. And if you're not in the mood for wine yet, treat yourself to some freshly baked scones with cream and jam, accompanied by a barista-made coffee.
Rivendell is a family and dog friendly winery with a natural playground on site. Dogs are welcome on a lead in our outdoor areas. Tastings are available for a redeemable fee of $10 per person to taste the range or you can choose 4 wines for only $5.

Stroll through the breathtaking gardens, savor our exquisite Rivendell Estate wines, and don't forget to check out our art gallery and store located just beside the cellar door. And, of course, our cellar door menu offers delicious dining options. Did we mention you can book in for High Tea? Booking is easy and can be done online, via email, or by phone. During the event, you'll be treated to a mouth-watering selection of French patisseries created by the famous Maison LASSIAILLE, which perfectly complement our mini gourmet grazing board.

Rivendell offers a boutique range of 9 wines, including the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon. Their 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon received a 90-point rating from the 2022 Halliday Wine Companion and is known for its freshness. In addition to their award-winning Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, Rivendell has several other notable wines that are worth exploring. Here are a few highlights:
- Rivendell Estate Sparkling Brut: A sparkling Chardonnay and Pinot Noir blend with fresh citrus aromas, summer citrus flavours, hints of apple, and berries. This wine offers a crisp, refreshing finish, ideal for celebrations.
- Rivendell Estate Flint Rosé: A pale, salmon pink wine made mostly from merlot with a hint of shiraz. It features aromas of wild strawberry and white florals, finishing bone dry. The wine's texture is enhanced by oxidative handling and fermentation with moderate solids levels.
Rivendell Estate's 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon was awarded the BEST Cabernet Sauvignon of the Margaret Region at the 2023 James Halliday Chardonnay and Cabernet Challenge hosted by Yarra Wine. The judges highlights for the wine were vanilla, spiced plums, inky lift, compact tannins and 'light on its feet'.
